CATSBURG ON DHL POLE POSITION FOR WTCR RACE 2
WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO Newcomer Nicky Catsburg will start the reverse-grid Race 2 of WTCR AFRIQUIA Race of Morocco from the DHL Pole Position after a strong qualifying performance in Marrakech.

The BRC Hyundai N LUKOIL Racing Team driver, who has previously raced in the World Touring Car Championship, made it through the Q1 session as the eighth fastest qualifier, then was P10 in the 15-minute Q2 session – which ensures his Hyundai i30 N TCR will start from the DHL Pole for Race 2.
He will be joined on the front row by BRC Hyundai N Squadra Corse Gabriele Tarquini, the reigning champion making it an all-Hyundai front row with the ninth best time of Q2.
On the second row will be Leopard Racing Team Audi Sport’s Jean-Karl Vernay and Race 1 winner from yesterday, ALL-INKL.COM Münnich Motorsport’s Esteban Guerrieri. The pair were eighth and seventh respectively in Q2.
The reverse grid means Yann Ehrlacher will be the highest of the Cyan Performance Lynk & Co starters. His Lynk & Co 03 TCR will line up fifth, just ahead of team-mate Thed Björk and Yvan Muller.
