AUTO E MOTO D’EPOCA 2025 FIRES UP THE ENGINES: IN BOLOGNA, THE MAJOR EVENT CELEBRATING MOTORING HISTORY
The 42nd edition of Auto e Moto d’Epoca opens tomorrow, Thursday, October 23. It stands as the most important European exhibition dedicated to classic and historic vehicles. A one-of-a-kind event that unites past and present, culture and technology, passion and collective memory. More than ever this year, Auto e Moto d’Epoca is a great collective narrative, a celebration of innovation, speed, and the cultural heritage of Italian and international motor history. A journey through past and future that speaks directly to the heart of every enthusiast.

“Auto e Moto d’Epoca is not just a trade fair, but the place where the past and future of motoring meet,” says Mario Carlo Baccaglini, President of Intermeeting. “At BolognaFiere, we celebrate Classic passion every year, among collectors, museums, and major automotive brands. The 2025 edition reaffirms this identity, with a special exhibition marking 75 years of Formula 1, featuring 30 original single-seaters together for the first time, and an exclusive showcase by Honda. It’s a journey through engineering, design, and history—but also a look into the future. Here, historic motoring is not nostalgia: it’s living culture, shared by a growing international community. Our commitment is to continue building a unique experience that moves, involves, and inspires every generation.”
In a constantly evolving world, the charm of vintage cars and motorcycles remains unchanged: they are not mere vehicles, but living testimonies of design, engineering, style, and dreams. Every vehicle tells a story, every curve of the bodywork reflects an era, every engine sparks emotion.
With 235,000 square meters, 14 pavilions, and 4 themed routes, Auto e Moto d’Epoca 2025 is a true journey through the history and excellence of world motoring—featuring rare gems, international collections, major industry players, and historic clubs.

"Auto e Moto d’Epoca is not just a fair: it’s a journey through the memory and identity of a country that has built its history through engines, design, and innovation. BolognaFiere is proud to be the home of this extraordinary event, which brings together past and future, industry and culture, in a territory as unique as the Motor Valley," highlights Antonio Bruzzone, CEO of BolognaFiere. "Each edition grows and evolves, reaffirming Bologna’s role as an international hub for automotive and motorcycle excellence. Here, passion isn’t just on display — it’s in the air."
Auto e Moto d’Epoca, a member of FIVA and Motor Valley, is held under the patronage of: Fondazione Bologna Welcome, Confcommercio Ascom Città Metropolitana di Bologna, CNA Bologna, and Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna.
