Half a million European mass-market B-SUVs produced at Stellantis Tychy plant, a milestone marked by an Alfa Romeo Junior
The Stellantis manufacturing plant in Tychy has reached a significant milestone, with a total of 500,000 B-SUVs produced. These models are specifically tailored for customers seeking a combination of modern styling, functionality, compact dimensions, spaciousness, performance, and safety.

The 500,000th B-SUV to roll off the Tychy production line is an Alfa Romeo Junior Sport Speciale, finished in Rosso Brera paintwork with a contrasting black roof and equipped with the 1.2 Hybrid 145-hp Q4 all-wheel-drive powertrain.
Plant employees celebrated the achievement together with Christophe Montavon, Europe Manufacturing Officer at Stellantis, who noted: “This is an impressive achievement for the Tychy team. I would like to express my sincere gratitude for each of these half a million vehicles, made possible by your dedication and expertise. You are part of the Stellantis team behind their commercial success. Through your manufacturing know-how and attention to detail, you ensure that every vehicle meets the highest standards.”

Models manufactured at Tychy Plant
The Alfa Romeo Junior continues to strengthen its position in the premium B-SUV segment and is already available in more than 40 markets. Junior offers the most comprehensive line-up in the segment: Elettrica Veloce, the model’s most powerful variant, delivering 280 hp through a fully electric powertrain; the Elettrica, with 156 hp; the Ibrida 145-hp version, both in front-wheel-drive configuration and with the Q4 all-wheel-drive system
The Jeep Avenger has become one of the brand’s key models in Europe, having surpassed 270,000 customer orders. The start of production of the new Jeep Avenger at the Tychy vehicle plant further enhances its appeal with refreshed styling, new equipment features, and a broader powertrain offering. Customers can choose from e-Hybrid, a fully electric vehicle (BEV) and 4xe variants, as well as a new Turbo 100 petrol engine paired with manual transmission.
The Fiat 600 is available with a full range of modern powertrains, including the 600 Hybrid, the fully electric 600e, and a 1.2 Turbo 100-hp petrol version equipped with manual transmission. The model line-up also includes the Fiat 600 Sport, which emphasizes the vehicle’s character of more dynamic and distinctive styling.
Together, the Alfa Romeo Junior, the Jeep Avenger and the Fiat 600 form one of the most comprehensive product offerings in the B-SUV segment, covering a broad spectrum of powertrain technologies: from petrol and hybrid versions to fully electric vehicles. Depending on the version, customers can also choose automatic transmissions and all-wheel-drive systems, enabling the vehicle’s character to be tailored to different driving styles and customer expectations. The Alfa Romeo Junior Sport Speciale is a new special series designed to emphasize the dynamic character of the Junior, through exclusive design elements, premium materials, and an extensive package of advanced technologies.
The unmistakable Alfa Romeo exterior design is enhanced by gloss-black exterior elements, silver accents on the side skirts and bumpers, dedicated 18-inch two-tone Matt Miron Diamond-Cut “Fori” alloy wheels, and an exclusive “Sport Speciale” badge. Additional styling cues, including privacy glass and an optional two-tone roof, further enhance the vehicle’s bold appearance.
Inside, craftsmanship and attention to detail define a sophisticated environment. The heated, electrically adjustable seats feature distinctive perforated Alcantara upholstery with a light-colored backrest accent and “ice” inserts on the front seats. The same material covers the dashboard, center tunnel, and door panels, while the steering wheel – combining leather and Alcantara with contrasting stitching – provides the tactile feel typical of Alfa Romeo’s sporty driving experience. Luminous stitching and the dashboard logo, pedals and kick plate in aluminum, and ambient lighting all contribute to creating an exclusive atmosphere.

Overall, across the total market, it also secured second place, with more than 2.4 million vehicle registrations and a 16% market share.
The Tychy plant has been manufacturing vehicles for European customers for more than five decades. The passion and expertise of successive generations of employees have always shaped both the Tychy team and its approach to manufacturing. The facility was a pioneer of the Polish automotive industry and a hub for the implementation of new technologies. Thanks to consistent investment, it has evolved into one of Europe’s key passenger vehicle manufacturing hubs. In 2025, the plant celebrated its 50th anniversary as well as surpassing the milestone of 11 million vehicles produced. The same year also marked the completion of a five-year program of modernization and the launch of production for a new generation of B-SUV models: the Jeep Avenger, Alfa Romeo Junior and Fiat 600. As a result, half a million of these vehicles – offered in a wide range of configurations that include internal combustion, hybrid and fully electric powertrains – are now on European roads.
