The chosen date creates a symbolic bridge between two chapters of Italian automotive history: on October 21st, 2026, exactly 30 years after the registration of the last Autobianchi Y10 produced, the first Pandina Tributo Autobianchi produced is registered.
The connection between FIAT and Autobianchi has deep roots. In 1985, the Autobianchi Y10 was based on a platform derived from the FIAT Panda, reinterpreting the concept of the compact car through distinctive design, refined materials and an attention to detail usually associated with higher segments. The Y10 would later pave the way for the Lancia Y, continuing a journey defined by style and personality.
From the Bianchina to the A112 and the Y10, Autobianchi transformed small cars into vehicles with a distinctive character, combining everyday practicality with refinement.
It is precisely this philosophy that FIAT reinterprets today with Pandina Tributo Autobianchi: the qualities that have made Pandina one of Italy’s most popular cars are enriched with new elements of style, elegance and personality.
Italian style, inside and out
Pandina Tributo Autobianchi stands out through a series of exclusive details that enhance its character.
At the heart of its design is a new Platino colour, developed specifically for this version and available exclusively on it. Customers can choose between a full-body colour and bicolor configurations, featuring a contrasting black roof and tailgate.
The black tailgate itself recalls one of the most recognisable styling elements of the historic Autobianchi Y10, creating an immediate connection between past and present.
Completing the exterior design are black-painted mirror caps and skid plates, a dedicated “Tributo Autobianchi” side lettering sticker and exclusive 15’’ diamond-cut alloy wheels, featuring a dedicated logo on the hubcaps.
The cabin also expresses the character of the new version through specific colours and materials.
The Light-sand microfiber seats feature the iconic “quadrettoni” pattern and a dedicated logo on the front headrests, combined with matching Light-sand soft-touch door panel inserts.
The Platino-painted dashboard fascia contrasts with the light-coloured upholstery, while glossy black details and the soft-touch steering wheel contribute to a more refined ambience.
The version’s identity is also reflected in the dedicated “Tributo Autobianchi” welcome graphics on the instrument cluster and radio. Floor mats and dedicated finishes complete the interior.
The result is a Pandina that retains its practicality and ease of use while adding a more refined and distinctive character.
Pandina: a success story that continues
The new Pandina Tributo Autobianchi enriches a range that continues to stand out for its commercial performance.
In the first nine months of 2026, Pandina confirmed its leadership in Europe’s A segment, with 100,000 registrations, up 7% compared with the same period of the previous year.
Italy remains its main market, with 86,000 registrations from January to September (+5%), confirming Pandina as the country’s best-selling car. In September alone, Pandina Hybrid recorded 10,401 registrations, representing 7.5% of the Italian car market.
Produced at the Stellantis plant in Pomigliano d’Arco, Pandina represents one of the symbols of Italian automotive tradition, thanks to a formula that combines compact dimensions, versatility and accessibility.
With Pandina Tributo Autobianchi, FIAT further expands the range, paying tribute to an important chapter in its industrial history and bringing to today’s roads the spirit of a brand that made small Italian cars true icons of style.
